Blakely Photography is a full service commercial studio located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Founded in 1992, Blakely Photography is owned and operated by Alan Blakely. Mr. Blakely began his commercial photography career in 1979 following a brief career in photojournalism. In the ensuing years Mr. Blakely also enjoyed successful careers as both a jazz musician and as an advertising copywriter. Since 1988 Alan Blakely has built a reputation for fine commercial photography in the North American market.
Alan Blakely is the founder of The Association of Independent Architectural Photographers (AIAP), and has been honored by VIEW CAMERA magazine and GRAPHIS PHOTOGRAPHY ANNUAL for excellence in architectural and product photography. Mr. Blakely has also been the recipient of many professional awards for his architectural images. Mr. Blakely is the author of serveral photography publications and is also a popular speaker and workshop presenter.
Blakely Photography creates advertising and editorial images for clients in the U.S. and abroad. The comfortable, well-appointed studio is the birthplace of many national and international advertising campaigns. Blakely Photography employs the services of several assistant photographers and stylists, all of whom are accomplished professionals in their own right.
